Garden Guardians Summer Camp is a five-day camp with supervised activities, for children entering 1st through 6th grade, set in our urban garden at the Albuquerque Garden Center. Each summer we provide a unique summer camp experience, blending environmental education along with traditional camp fun. Working together, children learn to become guardians of the earth through practical gardening experiences, games, arts/crafts, and guest speakers. We seek to increase familiarity of the natural world, and teach children how gardening can help the environment. Our camp goal is to help children develop a life-long love of gardening, a respect for the environment, a passion for giving back to the world, and above all, to have FUN!

Our 2024 camp theme is “Wildlife Habitat Gardening”.  Our campers will learn that by including native plants and other elements that provide food, water and shelter, they can make a real difference in supporting pollinators, birds, and other wildlife.

Camper registration fees:

• $125 per camper

• $100 for additional sibling

Scholarships are available for those who qualify.
