ANNUAL RUMMAGE SALE February 26-27, 2021, 8 am – 3 pm
Dear Council Members:
The pod was delivered on January 5 and we are already getting donations from our members. We can sell just about anything; but ask that you not bring any chemicals, used make-up, televisions, dirty clothes, SPIDERS, used mattresses, or bed pillows. The more you can CLEAN up the items, the better it is for our volunteers. If it is not worth selling, please throw it in your trash so we do not have to throw it in ours. We will have the Patio Room open for higher quality items, priced to sell. This includes jewelry, depression glass and higher end clothing.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, Big Brothers Big Sisters is not currently picking up leftover donations. We are hopeful that by the end of February, they will be able to return to their regular pick-up schedule. If anyone has a personal philanthropic organization they wish to donate our leftovers to, please contact me. We will ensure that you can take whatever is left. Pick-up will have to be immediately following the close of the Rummage Sale.
We will be adhering to the Governor’s mandates and only allow the maximum number of customers into the sale. Our volunteers will be positioned at the entrances so we can monitor and regulate incoming traffic. This maximum occupancy will include the volunteers, as well as the customers. All volunteers will be furnished w/ gloves and masks. We will be adhering to the 6’ physical distancing mandate.

Do not linger to sign up. The shifts will be short…probably only 2-3 hours each. Of course, one can work longer, if so desired.
Remember…sign up early and NO SPIDERS!
