The Xeric Garden Club of Albuquerque hosts Judith Philips. She will give a presentation on the topic Researching and Writing The Gardens of Los Poblanos.
Researching and writing about the gardens of Los Poblanos was an opportunity to answer the many questions that arose while she was working on the plant selection for the transition of the gardens from their historic roots to present day resilience. The gardens of Los Poblanos offer a timeline of adaptation to changing attitudes and environmental conditions through the stories of the people and plants. After her presentation she will have autographed copies of her new book The Gardens of Los Poblanos available for purchase.
